Description

PrestaShop Tutorial: Positions

Vsualization of module positions: display a list of all available locations (hooks) on your site where modules can be attached. Association of modules: assign modules specific to different hooks to determine where they will appear on your site, as in the header, the foot of the page, the left or right column, etc. Reorganization of modules: reorganize the order of modules in a specific location to control their appearance and display order on the site. Management of hooks: Add, change or delete personalized hooks to create specific locations for modules, offering even more personalization. Live overview: Use the preview option to see how changes affect the appearance of your store in real time. Compatibility of modules: Make sure that the modules are compatible with the hooks to which they are allocated, for optimal operation. Transplantation of modules: "Transplant" a module, that is to say move from one hook to another, to test different configurations and improvements of the user interface. Exceptions: Define exceptions for certain modules so that they appear only on certain pages, offering a finer personalization of the user experience. Space optimization: Effectively manage space on your site by placing the modules strategically to improve navigation and user engagement. Documentation and support: Consult the available documentation and community support for advice on optimal management of modules positions.
